A PubMed search for the name or the sequence returned only ten records. Eight trace to two Russian groups, bird work from Chita State Medical Academy and lab work co-written with V. Khavinson; the other two have nothing to do with it.
What the 2 PubMed papers cited for Testagen looked at, 2011 to 2013
Young chickens had their pituitary gland removed in a 2011 study, a step that disturbs the thyroid, and the team examined the thyroid in birds given this peptide. The paper traces KEDG to extracts from the front part of the pituitary.
In a 2013 test tube experiment, KEDG and other short peptides were tested for binding to histones, the proteins that DNA is wound around inside a cell.

Reading the Testagen record
